How Celebration Is Not An Occasion But Rather An Attitude

Celebration is not an occasion but rather a way of life. Celebration should be your attitude no matter what problems you encounter. No life is problem-free; yet, the right way to solve your problems is to approach them with an attitude of celebration not avoidance. But the real problem, indeed, is that when your life is a relentless celebration, you will be dangerous; you will be unstoppable. Society got to stop that to manage and control you. So, they made occasions for you to celebrate. For example, you are programmed to celebrate the Valentine day each year on the 14th of February. Before and after that day, you should be reaching your goals. That’s why we are taught to be disciplined, not to be intense; to achieve not to be fulfilled.

Your outside world is set by rules beyond your control. You long for being in charge of your life but the system tell you what to do and what not to. That system renders you just like a cog in the machine of productivity. To be human is to celebrate every moment with intensity. You are caught in the system of achieving goals where the motto is; “Not now. Not yet.” It’s either too early or too late to celebrate. You are compensated with a day for Halloween day, with Mother’s day and so on. You are living according to a calendar. Societies have succeeded in repressing your intensity for living.

To set your rules without violating society’s rules is to master combining the extremes. While society promotes consistency at the expense of intensity, you apply both. The system urges you to keep going until reaching the goal. But, to live with intensity, with celebrating every moment and feeling grateful for the blessing of being alive is to get going. Intensity is the quality of being a total and whole human being. Your heart is your guide. It revels in the unknown and in the here and now. Your heart is obsessed of how to make the present moment the best moment ever. Out of this moment comes the next one. There is a celebration of every moment per se.

The future belongs to the celebrating hearts. Whether we like it or not the world is witnessing a spirit of awakening. Governments and societies are no longer in control, though it seems otherwise. Globalization has raised the awakening of a new age. I would like to call it the entrepreneurial age. An age characterized by the freedom of the individual from the constraints and shackles of societies. A new man is about to be born. This is the second childhood of humanity. The first one was unconscious, stifled childhood that lacks liveliness, wholeness and playfulness. A Childhood that was characterized by seriousness and fear.

The second childhood of humanity is running through a difficult delivery. Difficult because of the old established system that encourages compensating at the expense of celebrating. Delivery is inevitable. What is questionable is: whether it will be a born-dead or a born-alive baby. The old army won’t tolerate the birth of this new baby while the new spirit of embracing freedom will fight an all-out war to protect the new messenger of freedom and celebration.

True celebration is more of a way of life than it is an occasion. It is not too early, nor too late to celebrate. It should be an ongoing celebration of beautifying and making every moment of your life worth living.
